Upon the Start of Care of service, a supervising Registered Nurse develops a specific Plan of Care in close coordination with the Patient’s primary physician and completes a patient assessment. The Nurse reviews the care plan in detail with the patient and/or family/caregiver. The complete profiles, professional experience of all qualified applicants then become part of our computer data base, to be pulled up and matched to the appropriate patient’s needs. All of our employees are re-evaluated every year, and given continued training, and in-service education. On a regular basis, as pictured below, our nurses and aides are undergoing hands-on instruction in the handling of our patients. We know that the comfort of the own home and the participation of family, mascots and friends often results in faster recuperation. And with advanced medical resources now available for home use, the highest quality health care can often be provided at costs significantly below that of other health care facilities. Our compassionate employees will keep the household running smoothly, assist with safety measures, practicing Universal Precautions, assist with shopping, prepare meals to meet any dietary requirement, and provide all important emotional and physical support, as well as companionship. If necessary, we’ll train others to assume the tired caregiver duties. To
meet the needs of both patient and family,
Total Home Health Care
has developed Compassionate
Home Care Programs that provide the right combination of quality service and
profound emotional and physical support for each client that we provide care
for. |
